Description

Seeing was very good early in the evening - at twilight and just after. It was a very hot day (96F, 35 C) and it seems that seeing gets worse as the night goes on. At some point, I plan to experiment with WinJupos to see if derotation will help improve the Jupiter images. You can see the color separation on the moons. I watched the Io shadow transit with my neighbors for about an hour an then switched to photography.

Best 50% of 3000 frames each for RGB and L. Used AS2!'s automatic grid for alignment points. Opacity for the L layer set to 30% in Photoshop.

L: gain = 48, exp = 18.4 ms

R: gain = 53, exp = 22.8 ms

G: gain = 51, exp = 17.3 ms

B: gain = 59, exp = 12.7 ms

Thanks for looking!
